Esta Livio means “It’s Alive” and that’s what the band wants to do with its music. Make people feel alive.
Originally formed in London, UK, in 2006, Esta Livio started out as a band of musicians who just wanted to play their favorite music in front of crowds everywhere. It was in 2009 that the band moved to the beautiful city of Lahore, Pakistan and its current lineup came into shape. Since then, the band has performed at venues all over the country, has made numerous TV and radio appearances and recorded a ton of original music.
The band first became known for performing rock covers of songs by unconventional artists like Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. Their original music is the truest form of alternative rock where Eastern music is seamlessly blended with Western influences to create a sound that hasn’t been produced in Pakistan before.
Esta Livio is not limited to a single language when it comes to music. They write what they feel in the language they feel it in which is why original compositions from the band include Urdu, English, and Punjabi songs. Each member of the band is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, a fact which helps the band create rich music that comes from the input of two individuals who fit together perfectly no matter what instrument they are playing.
